When I was first introduced to this band, they were playing at PJs Lager House in Corktown. Before the show started, I met some of their fans who had made the trip up from Ohio to support them. One standout comment was, “You like Led Zeppelin, you’ll love these guys! They’re only 19!!”. When Leadfoot took the stage, their front woman, Hope, opened the show with her angelic voice and the energy of a young Jim Morrison with the moves to match. I instantly became a fan. Shit, the whole room instantly became a fan! Their sound pays a delightful homage to the bluesy, soulful rock sound of the late 1960s, yet it feels fresh, original, and undeniably powerful. This band is headed nowhere but up.

Have you ever thought, “It would be so cool to lace up my high-tops, gel up my hair, and take a time machine back to 1987 to the Sunset Strip to see a rock show.”? I admittedly have. (It’s ok, just go with it!) All that Hollywood glam, the big hair, THE BIG SOUND of that era. Iroc Zs MTVs and Honda Sprees. Not many of the original hair metal bands bring it to the stage these days anymore. How would you like to see that energy and attitude performed by talented, young, eager, musicians in their prime? They will bring the devilish charm of that era into all of their original and masterfully composed tracks. When Wanted takes our stage, it will no longer be 2025.. we’re going back in time!

This band was a birthday present from the universe to my wife (for both of us). We saw them open for a band in Ann Arbor and we immediately were blown away. The stage presence of this gang is unmatched. The kind of band that feels both fresh and familiar, blending sharp, infectious melodies with a cool, effortless indie rock vibe. When frontman Alex Christ takes the stage, his inner Mick Jagger kicks in, and this boy can knock em dead. On the ride home from our weekend getaway we found their music on Spotify and the rest is history. Their first handful of tracks was my Spotify wrapped for the year. Their music is truly amazing, and appealing to so many tastes. I have, on many occasion, hijacked a Spotify at a party or a bar, put on one of their tracks, and everyone starts grooving. Fun Fact: Both my kids know every word to every one of their songs.
